Health data are captured using a wide variety of systems and languages. They are also very privacy sensitive. But sharing of data is crucial to learn from each other's data. Clinical Data Science is actively developing a federated, privacy-preserving, data sharing infrastructure.
Use Artificial Intelligence methods to learn from health data
Artificial intelligence methods can learn from health and health related data. Clinical Data Science applies a wide variety of machine and deep learning algorithms with two main goals: 1) Improve efficiency and/or quality of health care and 2) Support decisions to improve future health.
Apply Artificial Intelligence to improve health and health care
Introduce artificial intelligence applications in routine health care to improve health of citizens and patients and improve health care.
