LIME 2.0
LImburg MEet 2.0
LIME 2.0 represents the evolution of the LIME (LImburg MEet) initiative. Building on the foundation laid by LIME 1.0, the project delves into key areas such as prevention, personalized care delivery, and addressing health challenges in vulnerable groups. LIME 2.0 adopts a strategic framework encapsulated in the mantra: measurement - data - impact, with the overarching goal of enhancing patient care, improving health outcomes, and reducing healthcare costs.
Projects within LIME 2.0 include leveraging artificial intelligence to predict and potentially prevent heart conditions, crafting a preventive absenteeism strategy for Limburg's SMEs through the Balance Meter ('de Balansmeter'), offering personalized lifestyle support for individuals with overweight ('Beter op gewicht'), and developing an early detection approach for prostate cancer in primary care using e-Health.
This project was awarded funding through the 'Kennis-As subsidie' of the province of Limburg in 2021. For more information on the LIME project, visit www.limeconnect.nl.
