Petros Koutsouvelis

I am an Electronics and Electrical Engineering graduate, currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Maastricht University. My research focus is the application of AI techniques in MRI data to assist pre-surgical planning in epilepsy. AI-guided localisation of the epileptogenic zone could potentially add clinical value in the surgery evaluation procedure and improve post-operative outcomes. The project is a part of the AIM@Epilepsy consortium and my research is supervised by Dr. Ralph Breichesen, Dr. Olaf Schijns, and Prof. Andre Dekker.
