As of September 2023, I am a PhD Student researching the implementation of shared decision-making in radiation oncology, specifically at Maastro. Using my behavioural sciences background, I will be investigating how to support patients, their informal caregivers and physicians in using shared decision-making. After developing and implementing tools and activities to support shared decision-making, I will evaluate its impact on behaviour and identify critical factors for success, which could be used by other radiotherapy centers around the world.
