Florian van Daalen

After receiving my BSc and MSc degree from University Maastricht I have worked for a few years as a software engineer. I remained interested in science, and after writing a publication independently in my spare time I returned to academia to pursue a PhD degree in earnest at the Clinical Data Science group of University Maastricht. My research interests include privacy preserving techniques, federated learning, and ensemble based learning, with a focus on practical implementations of such works.
