I am currently a PhD candidate in the Clinical Data Science department at Maastricht University. I am close to completing my research, and my thesis is centered around the development of AI models for predicting patient outcomes in the field of oncology. These models leverage advanced machine learning techniques to analyze vast amounts of patient data, with the aim of providing more accurate and personalized prognoses. Furthermore, a key aspect of my research is focused on the clinical introduction of these AI models through decision aids. By integrating these models into decision-making processes, clinicians can make more informed and personalized treatment decisions that ultimately lead to improved patient outcomes.
In addition, my background in software engineering and medical informatics enables me to explore the intersection of healthcare and technology. I am particularly interested in using machine learning and mHealth to enhance patient outcomes. Furthermore, I am passionate about studying the intersection of computer science and psychology, and I am continuously seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge in this field. Ultimately, my goal is to leverage my expertise to drive significant change in the healthcare industry and make a positive impact on people's lives.
