Hannah Piehl

I am a PhD student investigating how trust and distrust shape the development and implementation of AI in healthcare. With a background in Science and Technology Studies, I combine sociological, philosophical, and anthropological perspectives with ethnographic methods. I am especially interested in how trustworthiness is constructed, contested, and critiqued and how negotiations around trust influence practices around medical technologies.
