I am an epidemiologist and biomedical researcher, currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Data Science at Maastricht University.

In collaboration with my colleagues at Clinical Data Science Maastricht and partners of the STRONG-AYA ecosystem, I have set up the digital infrastructure and technical means to learn from geographically dispersed data pools in order to improve health access and health outcomes for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer.

As a data scientist, I bridge the gap between complex technical components and real-world learning from large-scale data. I collaborate with AYAs with lived experience, data security jurists, ethicists, and treating healthcare professionals to derive actionable knowledge and build insightful visualisations of pan-European AYA cancer data.

My focus lies on application-driven developments, data visualization, federated learning, and synthetic data.
