Cloud-based 'Atlas' platform for high quality treatment planning

Cloud-Atlas aims to simplify complex radiotherapy treatment planning by offering a new knowledge- and cloud-based platform that supports high quality contouring and treatment planning. The platform stores large databases of expertly contoured and planned radiation therapy cases (atlases). Semantic software algorithms were developed, allowing advanced searching and selection of comparable expert cases based on patient characteristics.

This project was awarded funding by Eurostars in 2015.
